Web sites have quick use features, known as RSS feeds. RSS or Really Simple Syndication feeds are the future of learing the lastest, without having to dig through sites to find it. This site now uses RSS feeds to help benifit our users. This logo should appear somewhere on your screen (). This is the future, and we are hopping on that train.

Well, the regular season is offically over, and we have a player going to state! Dan Iwinski has officially qualified for state after shoting a six game series of 1290! He went in to a two frame roll off, defeating a player from Minooka High School to clinch his seat as the second place qualifier! State will occur this coming Thursday thru Saturday at O'Fallon Illinois! There he was bowling well, but not good enough to qualify for day 2. Congrats to Dan on this major achievement!

With a busy school year well underway, updating this site has not been a top priority. Since the first semester is over, we can fill you in on all the missing data since that last posted invite.

• The Varsity team is in it's last week of bowling going into IHSA Sectionals
• The Varsity Team Placed 3rd in Conference and the JV team placed well also.
• The schedule for this final week has yet to be determined.
• Sectionals are Saturday at 9:00AM

  • In the recent match against Romeoville, Plainfield Central took to the stand a shut out Romeoville. The team took all 10 points on both levels! Congrats to all!
  • The next match is on the 14th against Plainfield South at their place! Be ready to strike up a storm!

  • We have located two main bugs in the source code. These bugs affect ONLY the site and will not affect anything else.
    • The Time Bug
      • This bug affects the website in one key way. The bug places a time stamp on the page in random locations.
        • You will just find a time and date on the page.
        • In the source code you will find the following or a varation of it. The varations are either a part of of the below, a complete line as shown or the line repeated.

    • The second bug is a viewing error.
    • In certain browsers ((Affecting: Internet Explorer 7.0, ) (Not Affecting: Firefox))the drop down menus are not clear and have text "behind" them. We are addressing this issue and will have it fixed soon.
    • This issue is currently affecting the Records, History and Media buttons. If you can not access a page, please use the Browser Page to find your way.

Hello Everyone,

We are very excited to bring you information pertaining to the 2006-2007 Boys' Bowling Season! Yes, the news is in; and we can finally give you some solid dates and information dealing with this program.

First: Tryouts (Page) begin on October 23, 2006 at 4:00 PM at Pioneer Lanes. You, as a bowler will play three games. Coaches will judge you based on your skill, knowledge, and pin count, as well as other factors. On the 24th, the staff will do a call back. Then on Tuesday, those who were called back will be bowling 3 more games and a final team will be decided. The team will be outside the athletic office. Before you tryout you must have signed up in the athletic office and have a current physical on file. This year the participation fee (as school requirement) is $57.00 if you make the team. Further details can be found on the flyer located in the Tryouts Page.

Second: The team list will be uploaded on Thursday, October 26. Afterwards, practices will begin on the following Monday. Then the schedule below will commence. We will post the team on the front page and all of the team pages! Team rules, and regulations will also be posted.

Third: The schedule for the year is up. You can download the file or quick view it on any page on the site as well as see a full version of it on the Schedule Page. The first meets are as follows

We have just uploaded Revision 2 of the PHSCC BBW Web site. With the design of this new site we had a few things in mind.

One, to make your experience better. This can be accomplished in a few different ways. The first would be to make the navigation structure universal through EVERY SINGLE PAGE! We have finally accomplished this through the new drop down menus you see above. Second, we recompiled the site file navigation. Each file is easy to find through the "files" directory and then in it's correct category and then file type. As we mentioned earlier, we support HTML, and Adobe PDF! The three major web file types world wide!

The code is also been redone. You can check that out by yourself at a later time.

Data will also be more available! Thanks to PSD 202 we can now put up names and all the details of the season! You can check out profiles and the general data page through the Team button.

We hope to give you more information as the bowling season begins! We will put up the information as soon as we get it!

A New Found Welcome

Welcome to the 2006-2007 Boys' Bowling Team Web site! Over the summer break this site went under many renovations and tests to make your visit a good one. We have renovated the code, added more file formats, and added more pages so you can get to know the team better!

First, the many tests and renovations. You really will never see these unless you look at the code and file structure of the site. These just help the server under load and help you find what you need better. The code follows the above circumstances!

Second, many computers access the web differently. So our site works with the differences. Whatever browser you use; this site will work for you! With the many documents, we added file formats to them. Now we cover TWO main formats. The first is how you are looking at the page now. You can print it and the background will be removed. The second format is a .pdf file; or Adobe Acrobat Reader! You may see this() logo on the bottom of the page.

Over the summer, we decided to add more pages for you, the user, to get to know us better. The first new page is "The Coaches" page where you can meet each of the three coaches on our team! The second new page is "The 2006-2007 Tryouts" page. Here you can get up-to-date information on the team tryouts. Up next is a remodeled "Schedule" page. This new version is easy to read and will be helpful for you during the season! Also along the same lines as the "Schedule" page was the "Scores" and "Records" Fourth, we reorganized the "History" page so you can find what you need better along those lines. Finally, we added the "Site Browser" page, so you can find the file, page, and/or directory for what you need quicker and easier.

Finally, we the team hope to see you soon at the many meets and invites we attend! Without the fans, we are just a regular team, but with you; we are something great!
