Artist & site info:

Amanda...

the webmasterThis web site is a cutting-edge, W3C-compliant, XHTML and CSS-based website by Amanda Olszewski. It was designed by myself for Joliet Junior College's 8th annual web design competition. Feel free to stay a while and look around at my photography work.

Considering that the desire to make art begins early in life, I've been an artist since I was old enough to hold a pencil, have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember, and have been creating web graphics for a few years now. I've also been designing web pages since 2002 and have worked with such Web technologies as: XHTML, CSS 2.0, JavaScript, ASP, VBscript, and Flash. I have created logos, flyers, and posters for small businesses and local bands, as well as built cutting edge, dynamic web sites. Currently, I am finishing up the Web Design and Administration degree program at Joliet Junior College, and I am employed as a Web intern there as well. I will have earned my degree in Web Design and Administration this summer (2008).
